Virgin Atlantic, I love you. Thanks to a big sale over at Virgin Atlantic, I'm heading back to the UK this summer via UPPER CLASS! Yep, I'm flying 1st class to London in August.
If you take a look at the Virgin Atlantic web site, you can see the cool seats that morph into little beds. The bed is 33" x 6' 6". Plenty of room to stretch out and sleep during that 10+ hour flight to London.
Through Travel Zoo, I scored on a hotel room at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair in London on my first night. This fab hotel over looks the Grosvenor Park. Definitely ubber posh. Their web site says "The opulence and grandeur of this centrally located London hotel awaits you…" Sign me up!
Of course, my ultimate destination will be Scotland. But, you could have guessed that, right?
On my list of things to do:
Find the grave site of my great grand-father, George Innes.
On my last trip, I was not able to find where he was buried. Grace and I tromped through several cemeteries and looked at every headstone to no avail.
